Answer to Trivia

Thanks to the phenomenal success of Wonder Woman, the future looks bright for female superhero films. But, that wasn't always the case.

Comic book movies spearheaded by women haven't always enjoyed the best box office returns. From Sheena to Catwoman, the female comic book characters haven't had as much success as their brethren.

But the last female-fronted superhero film before Wonder Woman was 2005's Elektra, which only earned $24 million at the box office. Wonder Woman will next be seen in this Fall's Justice League.

For now though, be sure to check her out on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD.
